This architecture shows how to perform incremental loading in an extract, load, and transform (ELT) pipeline. It uses Azure Synapse Analytics to automate the ELT pipeline. The pipeline incrementally moves the latest OLTP data from production RDBMS database into Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pool (data warehouse). During the move, transactional data, combined with any other external data sources that have been pre-loaded in ADLS Gen2, is transformed into a tabular model for analysis and visualization.
